If you are passionate about progressive politics and want to apply your expertise to help steer Europe’s industrial future in a direction that works for people and the planet, we would love to hear from you.\n\n## Description of the function\n\nThis role involves:\n\n- **Political advisory functions:** Following the ITRE Committee agenda, advising Greens\u002FEFA MEPs, negotiating with other political groups, and maintaining close contact with the ITRE secretariat;\n- **Legislative and committee procedures:** Preparing and following up on committee and coordinators’ meetings, and contributing to legislative and non-legislative work at committee and plenary level, including reports, resolutions, amendments, and voting lists;\n- **Policy analysis and MEP support:** Assisting and briefing MEPs on key ITRE issues, conducting research, and preparing policy papers and briefings on Group and Committee priority topics;\n- **Interinstitutional relations and strategic communication:** Establishing working relations with EU institutions and relevant international bodies, engaging with the services of the Commission and Council, including attending to trilogue meetings.
