Job Description

Social media and web management

  • Manage Bellona’s social media channels and website.
  • Execute social media plan, including community management, and update the editorial calendar
  • Content development
  • Design various visual materials to convey technical research and expertise effectively. This includes producing images for social media, articles, publications, and other relevant content that are in alignment with the Bellona brand guidelines.
  • Ensure to upgrade and expand (through continuous learning and by staying up-to-date) your knowledge of relevant design tools (Adobe InDesign, Canva, etc.). Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.

Event communications

  • Assist in managing event communications and supporting event strategy
  • Help develop more proactive event outreach and attraction efforts
  • Support the creation of event-related content (emails, messaging, calendars, internal updates)
  • Assist with event calendar creation and maintenance

Internal communications

  • Support management of the internal communications INTRANET, including ongoing updates and announcements
  • Assist in drafting and organising internal communications updates on social media and the website
  • Provide CRM support, including maintaining and updating contact databases, segmenting audiences for internal communications, supporting email distribution lists, and ensuring data accuracy to enable effective and targeted internal messaging

Analytics and reporting

  • Measure the impact of online platforms (social media, MailChimp, website, etc) through metrics reporting.
  • Align communications project plan in alignment with workstream to Bellona and edits reports.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Interest in events, content creation, and internal communications
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn

What we offer

A full-time remunerated internship contract in the context of a CIP (Contrat d’insertion professionnelle- regulated by Bruxelles Formation), of 1200€ net not including teleworking allocation, meals tickets 10€/worked day, 12 days of vacation for the 6 months contract, public transportation, and a computer.
